It is within walking distance from where we wanted to go. So we had parking and a room. It was clean and safe.
Liked: Good customer service.
Disliked: The room needs an update - vent in the bathroom and the mattress was hard.

I will never again stay at the Marriot just due to the fact valet parking is a forced $40.00 per day charge. We could have stayed on Bourbon Street for the amount of money we paid to stay at the Marriott on Canal Street. A two night stay was $800, we could have paid a bit more and stayed at an exclusive balcony condo on Bourbon Street.
Liked: The location was right around the corner to the House of Blues. The rooms were very small but clean.
Disliked: Valet parking was a hidden $40.00 per day cost.

Liked: Everyone was very helpful. The concierge found us fun activities and the front desk found us a wheelchair to use for my wife. This made a huge difference because she hurt her back and they made accommodations to help us. All of the restaurants were exceptional and had great customer service. We also loved your pool.
