It is within walking distance from where we wanted to go. So we had parking and a room. It was clean and safe.

Disliked: The room needs an update - vent in the bathroom and the mattress was hard.

I will never again stay at the Marriot just due to the fact valet parking is a forced $40.00 per day charge. We could have stayed on Bourbon Street for the amount of money we paid to stay at the Marriott on Canal Street. A two night stay was $800, we could have paid a bit more and stayed at an exclusive balcony condo on Bourbon Street.

Liked: The location was right around the corner to the House of Blues. The rooms were very small but clean.
Disliked: Valet parking was a hidden $40.00 per day cost.

Disliked: Our 1st room was extremely dirty, wet smelly carpets, blood on bathroom walls and floorNext day we asked to be moved as room smelled bad, and was in awful condition. Next day we moved to another room which was alot better. Lobby was absolutely noisy, and busy all the time, no space to sit. Football fans were loud everyday of our 4day stay
