I really enjoyed my stay at the Aloft Hotel in Detoit! The workers at the Service Desk were very helpful, and courteous. I would love to come back and stay again. Until then, keep up the good work at this amazing hotel.
Liked: Very nice hotel!

Looked for a Starwood experience and left feeling like I should have booked a Comfort Inn. Keyless technology not working - it will make a light come on but will not unlock door!
Liked: Close to Fillmore!
Disliked: Hotel is not ready for public yet! There are so many things just not acceptable. No food is a big problem, especially with no assistance in locating possible places! Wanted a massage but no one knew the downtown area - had to print out some documents. No internet connection on one computer and password needed for the other computer - however no one could assist! Someone came over after hearing my phone connecting with technical support supplies on the computer and got one computer connected. Finally got to print document and no ink! Left to return to the room and the key didn't work - had to return to the lobby to find at least three others with the same problem! Biggest issue beyond the cold was the inability to control lighting in restroom area. All lights on.

Sleeping among the splendor of...
Liked: The location is excellent, and the historic hotel has recently undergone a beautiful renovation. The spaces are spacious, with high ceilings, and the floors are carpet-free, which is a great advantage for those with allergies. Unfortunately, there is no breakfast room, but there is a good restaurant and a coffee shop on-site. The common areas are comfortable and elegant. The price is very reasonable.
Disliked: The lack of slippers and the absence of a breakfast room with a buffet.
