The hotel was nice - my only complaint is that the beds were very firm and uncomfortable, and the pillows were very small too. Walking distance to LC Pavilion was short and easy.

Think that this hotel was quite nice - walking distance to venue (Lifestyle Communities Pavilion) and dining options. We will definitely stay here again next time we are staying in Columbus.

I was very disappointed in paying almost $200 for a one night stay here. The staff was very nice, but the layout of the hotel and the room were big disappointments. The lobby has stairs to reach the elevator, and when you have a large bag to carry, or are handicapped, it's very inconvenient. The pool is relatively small, yet the patio and bar are quite comfortable at night. I was very disappointed in trying to find a place to park initially. There is a curb that allows only 3 cars to park, and generally the valet service has it full. In regards to the valet service, I paid for my car to be put in the valet lot, after driving around the building twice to find a pay meter. They must have forgotten about my car because the next morning it was still in front of the meter. Considering the ups and downs of the hotel, and the significant price tag, I thought it was huge disappointment.

Liked: Good location. Enjoyed the environment. Treated very well. Valet parking was good and efficient but the car was parked outside and one valet moved my seat making it difficult to get in.
Disliked: The hot tub was cold the first night and really needed it to relax after a long day driving. Was told let it run it will warm up. Ran for an hour before giving up to no heat. Repeat nights it was great, almost too hot! Other guests are inconsiderate as for slamming doors but out of hotel's control. Valet parking is quite expensive for what it is.

Liked: I really love this lovely old hotel, I stay there a few times a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful, beds and bedding are comfortable and clean, shower is hot and spacious enough for even the tallest people. Hot beverages in the lobby and good food at the lower level Bistro. The smoking area is conveniently located although without shelter. Their valet service is awesome!!
Disliked: I hate to criticize, I really love this hotel. But in the interest of full disclosure I will nitpick a little.While technically ADA compliant, the lobby and the elevators are on different levels with a service elevator up to the first floor from the lobby. Possible but time consuming and difficult.There was no microwave in the room, the drain plug in bathtub wouldn't allow for a bath, and the bathroom tissue was very poor quality. Pool temperature was good, but the hot tub wasn't hot.In spite of these things I keep going back. They treat me very well, and I love the beautiful old building.
