Paid £35 online for a Sunday night. The reviews for this hotel were terrible but we seem to have gotten lucky. The fact it was a Sunday meant it was way cheaper and pretty empty. The rooms are shabby but I paid £35. I wasn't expecting much. I'd stay again for a cheap night when you're not going to be spending too much time in the hotel. 9 minutes from the Ritz and 10 minutes from city park, which you get discounted parking through the hotel reception. You get what you pay for.

Liked: Friendly staff. Cheap. Great location.
Disliked: Tropical heat in the bedroom and the phone going off all night.

Friendly staff and great location but I think perhaps we got what we paid for. Keeping in mind I have an 8 month old child at home, this was by far the worst night's sleep I have experienced in over a year! Not quite the comfortable, peaceful night I was hoping for! As long as you don't want to sleep, the hotel is great as a base, but avoid breakfast at all costs!

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: Bed was rock hard; breakfast was very unpleasant.

Liked: Local area to the shops and shopping centre also nightclubs and the gay venues and restaurants local bus station everything on the door step to Saint Peter Square also to Piccadilly Gardens and the Piccadilly train station very handy and you can get to the coach station as well round the corner so handy
Disliked: No windows basic room no fan no toiletries one toilet paper and small towel I don’t use the facilities overpriced rubbish £60 for one room with no windows and no fan basic hotel. I didn’t sleep all night had bug bites. Something was biting me in the bed. Had sleep on my scarf due bites in bed was not clean the smell in the room kept me up people making noise across the room also in out the rooms people didn’t sleep all night skin was itching due bug bites got this place has improved over the years but it hasn’t still dirty and it smells no windows overpriced rubbish £60 a lot of money had buy own food etc drinks no tea coffee the kettle was dirty stains on them I’m a clean tidy person. I’ve got bad OCD and never drink out cups I’ve been dirty left over by other people and the place is not clean properly it smelled basic room no bed and breakfast had pay extras I don’t eat breakfast anyway that’s not the point. You should get bed and breakfast included in the price of charging for basic services they no bar after 10pm they have a vending machine with the drinks are overpriced soft drinks and snacks avoid bed bug city

Find another place if you...

Liked: Location was great - very central
Disliked: Checkout time is 10 am! The plug points are nowhere near the bed and when asked for an extension cord, I was told to go and buy one at midnight. Old building so not as quiet and 5G signal is poor in the room

Don’t be fooled by the...

Liked: No hot water for a shower and stained sheets, and the staff & security were a bit frustrating when trying to fix minor room issues and return to the building/our rooms at night (they’d mixed up booking information and security almost didn’t let my friend into his room for the night). However, it’s passable value for money in the greater city.
