Leicester is a user friendly city with a lovely layout.

Liked: Space; event.
Disliked: None.

Liked: Great atmosphere inside the venue; well organised and Kasabian were awesome!
Disliked: Very poor public transport/taxis after the concert. Waited four and a half hours(!) for transport back to the hotel.

Went to Victoria Park to see Kasabian play to their homecrowd. Amazing performance and other than the shortage of toilets the organisers did a sterling job of housing, feeding and keeping 50,000 people watered. Fantastic night, city centre was buzzing and no trouble.

Liked: Amazing gig; perfect location.
Disliked: Not enough toilets for 50,000 festival goers.

l A pleasant park for strolls. You could walk across the park or go round it’s perimeter. To lengthen the walk, you could pick up New Walk which is an excellent walk into the town centre. Prettier now...

l Was a former race course and now a park with several different paths leading to the Memorial Arch. When sunny, families gather to sit and sit. Lovely!
