Hi, myself and my son Albert were lucky enough to get invited to the Raspbrry Pi 3 years Birthday Party. It was staged at the William Gates Data Lab. The organisation was on the ball. The organisers from The Raspberry Pi foundation had done a tremendous logistics job of getting everyone up and running. I have never experienced such heartfelt elation from everyone concerned. Registration was easy peasy. Scan your ticket and you are in. Get your program, get a seat and let's get started. Expert help from all directions. From 7 years old to 65(me). We were fed at the speed that we could digest the humongous amount of info. But it was FUN x 10, not all easy for us "virgins"with stiff fingers keeping up with the "young 'uÂns". Nimble in mind and manner. Wonderful to be a part of such a revolutionary method of learning how to make things work the way YOU want them to. "Why do we have to go, I want to do more!" is not the norm at the end of a double period of tremendous concentration, writing code so that the traffic light diode will light up, first hurdle then second and then in the right order. You build them on a "breadboard" then program it all youself. Fantastic! Looking forward to next year's party!
