The US Navy Memorial is an amazing site. It's not a large place and it's easy to see in just a few hours, but it is well worth a visit when you're in DC.

Liked: The March on Washington Film Festival was an amazing gathering with many well-read and articulate scholars and filmmakers discussing both historic and contemporary issues dealing with human rights.
Disliked: Nothing!

l The US Navy Memorial is a beautiful memorial to the navy with many flags and fountains near the National Archives. The buildings behind the memorial also make for a very pretty picture.

l Beautiful circular structure near The National Archives building with some statues dedicated to those who served in the US Navy forces. Quite a nice photographic building behind it too
