Good location of parking garage, only $4 for the whole time.

Liked: Good seats; easy to get to bar and rest rooms. Great sound.
Disliked: 8pm first show means 8pm, not when the doors open. Did not appreciate waiting in the cold wind for half an hour. Show actually started at 9 pm. Also $7 for a little glass of cheap wine is a bit much.

We had a great time, but it's not easy for people in their 50's to stand for four hours.

Liked: Great place for a concert. It was our first time, but we are on the email list, so we will be back.
Disliked: No seats!

Just a top spot to go for music in Asheville.

Liked: Great place for concert; good layout, so easy to enjoy the music; love the outside balcony and new club part downstairs where they sell other drinks.
Disliked: Only sell beer and wine upstairs.

Saw STS9 and had the best weekend of my life! Great venue with care free people. Good vibes; awesome town. I will be back ;)

My (first) experience at the Orange Peel was excellent. It was very cold out so if you had your ticket printed out in advance you got right in. The security was very friendly coming in as well - in the past at shows I have dealt with some real jerks working the door. The venue was very large and the coat check was so helpful. The bar downstairs was a nice place to rest between sets and even during the show there was a large screen with the show playing. Also, for people who smoke cigarettes like myself there was a convenient balcony to step out to. All in all, my experience was a ten out of ten. Nothing beats your favorite band at a great venue, with a nice beer selection and friendly staff. :)

We were not able to attend the show we wanted to, because we tried to buy tickets at the door and the show was sold out. We didn't want to buy them ahead of time, because there was a $5 fee (a quarter of the total original ticket cost!). We got there before the doors opened and everything to get tickets. I wish there were other options for getting tickets than paying extra, or risking not being able to go to the show. I would rather the venue just charge more for a ticket, than have ticketing fees added on.
