Robert Plant put on a wonderful show. The up close and personal size of the venue was special. Please don't ever close and keep the acts coming!

Liked: Beautiful venue! Close up and personal!
Disliked: The restrooms were 'old school' and could use a little updating.

Liked: Good crowd control as far as attendees getting in and out; enjoyed the venue's character.
Disliked: Acoustics were poor - could not understand most of the song lyrics.

Great time but once the limit at a specific level is reached you cannot leave it even if you have friends still there.

Liked: Atmosphere.
Disliked: Capacity.

Liked: Once you got out of the crowd, it was easy to get a drink because they have several places you can go. Sound was OK. The staff at the Riviera was very friendly and I had no problems with them. "They were cool."
Disliked: People crammed everywhere - hard to move and no aisles. No passes out to get a breathe of fresh air and the smokers felt like it was OK to smoke inside - a bunch.

My son, daughter and I attended The Gaslight Anthem concert on March 1, 2013. The concert was outstanding, and the venue was perfect for the band. This is the first event I have attended at The Riviera and, while other reviews describing the acoustics as awful are, in my opinion, exaggerated, the acoustics are a little mushy, though this made little difference, given the musical genre. The atmosphere and decor of the venue were attractive, and the positioning of the stage relative to the crowd was perfect.

Liked: Atmosphere; configuration of stage.
Disliked: Slightly mushy acoustics.

Went and saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and it was a good venue to see a live act. I will definitely go back.

Liked: It's in a cool neighborhood.
Disliked: I didn't use them but I heard the bathroom's suck.
