What a great weekend. We had tickets to the Chicago White Sox and Indians at Progressive Field on Saturday July 23 but it rained and rained and were stuck at the hotel. So we decided to go to the stadium and see what was nearby. The game was called off due to rain and the concert after was cancelled. But the fans filled the nearby venues and we had a heck of a time. Then I found out the concert and my tix were a go for Sunday. Turned a one night excursion into a weekend affair. Absolutely wonderful...except for the hotel. DO NOT STAY at the University Hotels and Suites.

l This stadium was very nice. There are ample food choices. It’s easy to get to. The site lines are good. And they built it in a nice spot. An enjoyable evening.

l Overall not bad. Park is starting to get some age as it was one of the first ballparks with character. I want to say it was built sometime in the early 90s. So, the park has that character but not...

l I am not a fan of either of the teams playing, so just went to enjoy a baseball game in a great baseball park. Overall a short walk from most of the downtown area. plenty of restaurants and bars...
