Having visited the Millenium Stadium on at least five occasions I can honestly say that it is without a doubt the best stadium in the world. The design is absolutely fantastic; wherever you sit, be it in the heavens, in the middle or on the ground level you feel like you're almost a part of the game due to the fantastic views. I've seen a number of different events there; from the Rolling Stones to Six Nations Rugby matches (being there when Wales won the Grand Slam in 2005 was without a doubt the best moment of my life!), and each different event has been fantastically organised. HOWEVER! the one slight fault has to be the fact that the bars, and particularly the toilets tend to get extremely crouded on match day, to the point where, when I was there for the England Wales 6 Nations Match in February, people were forced to urinate in the sinks due to lack of space. However, the beers were flowing and it was all a bit of a laugh; another funny memory of another great day out at the Millenium Stadium.
Liked: Atmosphere and view is second to none
Disliked: Toilets and bars get very busy!

I was at the Millennium Stadium for the Calzaghe v Kessler fight on Saturday. I must admit I am not a huge boxing fan but ended up having a fab time. The Millennium Stadium is amazing and the atmosphere made the night. Only down side was the bar queues they were huge and a bit of a free for all!
Liked: Amazing Atmosphere
Disliked: Bar queues - no choice of drinks

I'm just back from watching Joe Calzaghe beat Mikkel Kessler at the Millennium Stadium - an estimated 50,000 people were in Cardiff to watch the event and it proved well worth the £85 I spent for my ticket. We were seated at the front of the middle tier, and the view was superb - no need to look at the big screens since we were well within viewing distance of the boxing ring. The evening consisted of about 12 or 13 boxing bouts, many of them quick four, 3 minute round bouts. The atmosphere wasn't great in the early part of the evening, most people concentrating on drinking beer to really care too much about the warmup fights. The queues for beer in the stadium were terrible, probably caused by the fact that people weren't allowed to take any drinks at all to their seats, so in between fights there were massive scrambles for the bars. But the showpiece of the evening, although starting late in the evening (1.30a.m.) really proved worth the wait - both boxers fought incredibly well, and the Millennium Stadium was buzzing - one of the greatest fights I've seen in a long time. I'd definitely recommend the Millennium Stadium to anyone - the atmosphere is electric. That said, a lot of that was down to the skills of one of the greatest boxers of our generation, Super Joe Calzaghe!
Liked: The atmosphere was incredible
Disliked: Unorderly queues for beer

I have tickets for Calzaghe v Kessler on Saturday, and have had real problems booking a hotel near the Millennium Stadium - everywhere within 20km is fully booked!! I would stongley advise people wishing to book accommodation near the Millennium Stadium to do it as far in advance as possible - I now know for next time!

I really do believe the Millennium Stadium is one of the UK's top sports stadiums. I've been three times and each time it just seems to get better and better. With a capacity of over 70,000 the atmosphere is just electrifying (especially when the roof is on)! I have not yet had the oppotunity to visit the new Wembley but I seriously think it will be hard pushed to beat the all mighty Millennium Stadium!

I went to see the Rugby at the Millenium Stadium which was an amazing experience. The stadium is huge, inside there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from as well as shops selling souvenirs.
Liked: Good choice of bars + restaurants
