I came when I was a party animal and still coming to see some great shows, in a classic old school rock venue. It's charm is unbeatable - rock on Paradise!
Liked: Outstanding venue.

This was a great venue. Sound was done well and was not overbearing and the balcony was fantastic.
Liked: Even with the sold out show we were able to find a great spot on the balcony to view the show from.
Disliked: Coat check filled up.

Overall, venue is good! It was conveniently located close to my hotel. Walked about 15 minutes. Bartender was very nice. Would go again.
Liked: I went to see KMFDM and Chant. Great show!
Disliked: Small venue but since the concert I attended wasn't packed, it was fine. Drinks are expensive too - two drinks for twenty bucks! I ordered vodka and cranberry.

We went to see Ian Hunter who I saw there 11 years previous and used to go to the Dise back in the 80's (Quiet Riot, Y&T, etc.) and we had a blast. The only drawback was that they put up seats in front of the stage area. I guess the old people complained of standing at last years show - really? I'm 50 and standing was no problem; Ian is 73 and he stood for 2 hours and rocked the place. It's a rock club people - if you can't stand for a show stay home!
Liked: It's a rock club - great sound!
Disliked: They had seats which was foolish.

I've easily been to over 500 shows and somehow this was my first at 'the dise'. Wow! - I had a blast. The barslingers were hot, hip and fair - you guys actually serve a decent cocktail for the money. I loved the SRO setup - easy to move around and position yourself for the show which looked to me like there's not a bad spot in the house. You can dance around a bit and hoot and hola some - hmmm, almost like a real Rock & Roll club! I started going to shows in the sixties (ya, I know I was supposed to grow up) and 'the dise' reminded me of the early clubs. After all people, its freakin' Rock & Roll - thanks for letting me breathe again - i will be back. If I had to describe your club in one word - RAW! Thanx, I loved it!
Liked: Everything
Disliked: Wow - no negatives.

Not my favorite place to see a show. The venue is small...two huge pillars close to the stage make it feel even smaller because they obstruct so much of the view. The show we went to was sold out and there was no room to even move. It was also way too hot - it would have been a good idea to use some fans to get the air circulating.
Liked: The Band
Disliked: Small, dirty
