So convenient and comfy way to see music.

Disliked: Nothing.

It was my first time there, and I look forward to another time. It could be quite a hike for anyone elderly, and I didn't see a cart to pick anyone up.
Liked: The venue is spectacular. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. And Frankie Valli was great.
Disliked: Paying $20 for parking was a surprise and seems a bit high.

Liked: The acoustics are amazing. John Mellencamp's performance was the highlight.
Disliked: None.

Disliked: Everything was good, the winery, food, starting band, until BB King came out. First he didn't come out until the second song, did nothing but talk with the audience, could not hear him, he didn't make any sense, when he did play the little he played, he sounded terrible! He's too old, we walked out early along with several other people. After spending $200.00 on tickets, $130.00 hotel, gas time, $150.00 for a 2 course dinner, we want a refund on tickets - what a waste of time! Reviews for the last 5 years have been terrible, why are promoters having him play?

Enjoyed the place. Aaron Neville was very good. Unfortunately, a negative aspect that Dr. John wasn't there. I hope that Dr. John feels well soon.
Liked: Loved the new look of the place. Very well done.
Disliked: No Dr. John.

Overall I like the winery - would come back. However I was disappointed with the fact that Maxwell performance was only 1 hour. It was unfair and unfortunate for the amount of money that I put out to have the Mountain Winery experience! Maxwell isn't good under pressure and that was shown by his lack of performance. He let me down as a fan and I'm sure I wasn't the only one! Mountain Winery should think twice before allowing him to return or booking him again especially if he can't perform in a small setting. Maxwell, stick to larger venues where you have better control of your multiple personality traits, not allowing for one of your twins (Gemini) to show up and cop out of performing for your fans. Using the illustration of "Superman" and losing your power for the reason of not performing and ending the concert one hour into the show - who does that!? Maxwell did!
Liked: The fifth staff person went to look and see where our reservation was.
Disliked: The staff let me walk around for 10 minutes looking for my dinner reservation.

What an awesome venue for any show! Immaculate grounds; amazing vista overlooking the valley; comfortable seating and just plain lovely. I hope Il Volo will be back - I'll be there again!
Liked: Everything except finding your car in the dark!
Disliked: Pierce Road is totally scary. Do NOT drink while at the event!

Fantastic venue for a show - intimate and grand all at the same time. Lovely acoustics too!

As an avid concert go-er I have to say that this has been my favorite venue to date. The drive up the mountain was lovely, we even saw three deer pass in front of us (so drive carefully) and as we reached the parking area we saw this amazing cloud formation crawling up over the mountains in the distance -- it was gorgeous! Our show was not sold out so I'm not sure how that would impact the ease of getting in and out via car. I do know they encourage car pooling and there is a discount rate if there are 3 or more people in the car. The grounds are beautiful and there is just this magic in the air that can only add to the experience of the concert. I don't know how I swung it, but I got tickets in the front row!!! And though I could tell there is no bad seat in the house -- this was definitely an awesome thing -- we saw Gomez with DeVotchKa and they were both out of this world. Also, bathrooms were nice and easy to get to. We shared a bottle of Old Zin from the winery and it was delicious...and pricey, but we decided to splurge. I'm definitely finding my way back here again.
Liked: Intimate, gorgeous.
Disliked: Not a thing.

I am not from the area and have never been to this venue. To play it safe, I decided to take a taxi from my hotel, the Inn at Saratoga, and getting there was a piece of cake. Riding up the one way road, I was relieved that I decided to take a taxi, but when I was ready to leave it was a complete nightmare, that completely overshadowned my total experience. I called a taxi a half hour before I wanted to leave, around 9:45pm, and was relieved when I finally reached someone and they said they would send a taxi. As my mother and I proceed to the parking lot, a staff member tells us they aren't letting taxis up anymore and couldn't give us a time when they would. A few minutes later, the taxi company called and said they wouldn't send a taxi because the venue wasn't letting taxis up the hill. This was a little after 10pm so not only did i feel stranded and worried I wasn't going to make it back, but I also left the concert early, missed some of it, to avoid the traffic, and all for nothing. A taxi didn't come until 11:20pm, leaving us waiting around on pins and needles, in the parking lot on top of a hill. The view was amazing but not worth all the trouble and hassle. I can say I will not be coming back to this venue and would have appreciated a "heads up" in regards to the cab situation. I understand it is a safety concern, but giving people a warning ahead of time would and should be a necessary courtacy.
Liked: Intimate setting to watch concerts
Disliked: Taxi service leaving the concert
