Had tickets to see Mickey Flanagan and nearly died laughing; best stand up comedian, on the same level as Peter Kay; awesome night at a great venue.

Liked: Easy to get to venue; great seats; great show.

Liked: Very friendly, helpful staff; clean and tidy; doors were open early as we arrived before 6pm and doors were not meant to be open until 6pm.
Disliked: The only negative is the ladies toilets being too far - partner was not overly impressed that they were at the opposite side of the building. Mens were a lot closer.

I attended the Em-Con convention to meet TV and movie stars. It was a great line up and I enjoyed the day immensely. It was well organised until later in the day when queueing for photos was somewhat stressful. Maybe more printers will be used at the next event? The photographers themselves were outstanding and produced pictures of the highest standard. The majority of the volunteer staff were very helpful, particularly one young lady who assisted me later in the day, but a couple were a little too power crazy when attempting to deny me entry back into the venue as I went to collect my final print. Having many years experience in the security industry myself helped me to deal with this isolated issue. Overall an excellent day and I look forward to and fully intend to return to next years' event.

Disliked: Steep stairs. Obnoxious stewards.

Made to wait in freezing cold until 19:15 before doors opened - we could see staff inside running up and down like headless chickens seemingly doing nothing. Show started at 20:15. Times quoted on ticket: 'doors open 19:00, show starts 20:00'.

Disliked: Doors 15 minutes late opening caused show to start 15 minutes late.

Clean; lots of staff.

Disliked: Toilets weren't well signposted. Food/drinks were expensive.

We choice this venue because the NEC was full. Would definitely use it again. Far superior to any local venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Liked: Just the best.
