My wife and I went to see the season opener for this year's Pops concerts, James Bond themes featuring Rachel York. The symphony orchestra played exceptionally well. We are lucky to have such a good symphony and a classic hall in which to hear them play.

Liked: Even though we were in the 2nd balcony, the sound was good, and we could see most of the Symphony Orchestra.
Disliked: Because there are no rails on the seat side of the balcony stairs, it is scary for anyone who is scared of heights or is unsteady on their feet to sit in the first 5 rows of the second balcony. What made this better, though, were the ushers who were very understanding about this. After the concert there was a long wait at the Linden Street Parking Garage, but that was the Parking Authority's goof, not Miller Symphony Hall's. Make sure that you pay when entering the parking lot, or find someplace else to park if you are going to Miller Symphony Hall. It took close to an hour to process all the payments with the machines used for payment after the concert. MSH has an agreement with the APA to collect the parking fees before the concert so that doesn't happen. There just happened to be a slip up the night we went.

Peter, Bethlehem

The Allentown band and their tribute to December 7, 1941 is a treasure that should be made known far and wide for all generations.

Liked: The seating was very good and the acoustics exceptional.
Disliked: No negative comments.
