Unique opera house. Wonderful gardens. Marvellous history. The paradise is not far. Outstanding atmosphere.

Liked: Outstanding experience.
Disliked: Magic Flute: great voices but disappointing staging.

l First the negative; it is very expensive (firstly the tickets and the restaurants), and if course you have to add on the train to and from Lewes and taxis from the station.I was lucky getting under...

l The Merry Widow was amazing in all ways. Mildmay Restaurant excellent too.......pricey but worth it. Often go to this opera house but this visit was exceptional.
