Very positive experience with lots of great encounters with cops (hpd and for-hire) volunteers and staffers. Great food and food vendors. Everyone was friendly.

Liked: Staff; food; venues; culture.
Disliked: Nada.

I loved that there were hillsides and valleys. We went for a concert and it was nice that you could sit or stand, depending on your preference. Also lots of shade trees.

Liked: Beautiful park.

FPSF 2013 was great! The park itself is okay. It seems like a park for a 2-day festival should not have such steep hills. Although the hills make for great seating when you can't get so close to the stage. Could seriously use more trees - there is very little shade to protect patrons from the hot June sun!

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Needs more shade!

Darin, Pearland

Liked: Nice scenery; a lot of good bands.
Disliked: Too many people at the summerfest.

Kelsey, New Orleans

Great spot for a concert festival. Pathways got a bit congested at points, but if you just changed your route it worked fine!

Liked: Huge; well planned out.
Disliked: None!

Quickly made it inside this spacious park for the festival. Plenty of free water around to keep hydrated. None of the stages bled through to the others. Nothing at all to prevent anyone's enjoyment, as long as you brought sunscreen and kept hydrated and lightly fed. Great experience and great bands.

Liked: Very well staffed and controlled. Very fun atmosphere during the Free Press Summer Festival.
Disliked: Only the obvious - very hot and crowded during the festival, but that's to be expected and prepared for. A little more areas of shade would have been nice.

Perfect venue and can't wait to return!

Liked: Awesome, amazing, best weekend EVER!

One of the best music festivals I've ever been to. They did a great job accommodating everyone with water and reminding everyone to stay hydrated. Lots of food options. Lots of attractions, and hard working staff. I will certainly be coming back next year.

Liked: Very good!
