I loved the performance I just saw because the members of Snarky Puppy are excellent musicians, but Concord Music Hall as a venue did not do them justice. Acoustics were not great, which muddied the sound quality. They are a very tight group, and I think they could have sounded better in a better room. We waited in a long line outside the venue for a good half hour in the cold. There was not much seating and it was not very comfortable. I got stuck with someone who was at least 6.5 feet tall standing in front of me for much of the show, and this is not pleasant for a woman of 5 feet 5 inches. The bathroom was not clean. I would pick another venue next time for my favorite artists.

Liked: It is a small venue, so not difficult to hear.
Disliked: Seating; acoustics; bathroom not clean.

Liked: The venue was fantastic. It was a gorgeous place. It was very classy and nice, it wasn't big but that was just fine for the Niykee Heaton concert that we went to. I would absolutely go back to see another concert there. I wish all concert halls that I've been to were that nice. It was close to our hotel too which was very convenient.
Disliked: I have nothing negative to say - it was a great venue!

l Stepped out for fresh air and we were NOT ALLOWED back in. Absolutely ridiculous as the show hadn’t even started! The staff was extremely rude and when asked to speak to a manager they refused.

l This place sucks and the people who work there are rude. With so many venues in Chicago don't waste your time or money here.
