I went to this school for my last two years of high school, and my lord, was it an experience. The teachers are very inspiring, educated, and like what they do. They really help pupils learn and think in dynamic ways. However, they are so embedded in their tradition of "excellence" that sometimes pupils get very overwhelmed. I remember how if a pupil were late for a class more than once a week, he/she endured severe punishment. I wore my uniform "incorrectly" one day, and the teacher right away sent me to the headmaster, after which I got punished physically. Good thing I am a girl though, they go harder on the boys! Other than that, Charterhouse is a very advanced, affluent school which prides itself in success. Any pupil who attends such an institution is genuinely very lucky. Indeed, it is an excellent school.
