Arrived early and no coffee or sweets on sale. Was not allowed out because of congestion in foyer. There wasn't anybody! The performers were wonderful but there seemed to be a group of people downstairs who had no interest and were constantly talking. This was apparent during the quiet bits and were constantly told to shush. What is the point of stewards - they should have been chucked out!
Disliked: Jobs worth red tape.

Went to see Paloma Faith at the Cambridge Corn Exchange last night. I love Paloma's album "Do you want the truth or something beautiful" and was really looking forward to the gig. She definitely did not disappoint, probably one of the best gigs I have been to at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Loved her glitzy outfits and the set was pretty impressive too. She has the most amazing bluesy voice and the sound system in the venue did it justice, definitely a couple of goosebump moments! She performed all her great songs and also threw in a couple of Billie Holiday covers, finishing with Frank Sinatra which led into her final song New York, one of my favourites! The event was sold out so the atmosphere was great, Paloma Faith is a fabulous performer and I would love to go and see her again, I hope she will return to the Cambridge Corn Exchange in the future.
Liked: Sound quality, Paloma Faith was AMAZING!

Went to the Cambridge Corn exchange last night and saw the Noisettes - great night!! The gig was scheduled to start at 7.30 but the support probably didn't kick off until about 8ish. I wasn't sure who the support act was going to be but had heard on the grapevine that it might be a local act, which I think it was. No idea what they were called, but they were actually really good, the lead girl was a great singer and they had some catchy tunes - very impressed. And it's great to see local bands getting the opportunity to play at larger venues! The Noisettes were amazing, they performed all the hits as well as some new material and a couple of covers. Loved the end when the lead singer was up on the side balcony, right near where we were standing. Great atmosphere and a fab band to see live, I will definitely go and see them again!
Liked: Great atmosphere and the Noisettes were brilliant.
Disliked: Wine selection is pretty poor and expensive.

Saw Morrissey at the Corn Exchange. It was sold out and I don't think they had enough staff to handle it. Long queue to get in, then they wouldn't let anyone out until 8.15 so they could get everyone else in. Morrissey was on fine form. Not a long set, but great choice of material. Crowd loved it, good atmosphere. Sound was good. Watch out if you are at the back at a standing gig, flat floor means you see very little.
Liked: Fairly small gig.
Disliked: Long queue to get in.

Went to the Cambridge Corn Exchange to see the Sugababes, who were brilliant! Sounded really good live! They did quite a bit of stuff off their new album as well as all the old hits. The sound quality at the Cambridge Corn Exchange seemed to be much better that I remember. We were in the standing area, quite near to the back , being quite short my view wasn't great!

Living in Cambridge, I have had the oppotunity to go to the Cambridge Corn Exchange loads! There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It's great for concerts, the sound is pretty good and if you opt for the standing section at the front you can enjoy a good old boogie.

The gig was great from start to finish, with excellent acoustics in the venue. Cheap beer made the night even more enjoyable and as the venue is situated in the city centre, it was a short walk to bars, clubs and burger vans!
Liked: Great sound, large bars.
Disliked: No warm up acts prior to the main event.
