Will be my main venue for gigs from now on.
Liked: Everything well organised.
Disliked: Nothing.
David M, Hull
Brudenell Social Club was a really good venue. It was the first time that I had been there (or to Leeds), and I found it to be nice. It is one of those buildings that seems bigger inside than it looks on the outside.
Liked: They Might Be Giants were excellent as always. The drinks were very cheap. The venue was really good as well.
Disliked: Despite showing her both electronic and paper versions of my Skiddle ticket, the lady on the door was unable to find my name. She eventually agreed to take my paper ticket and stamped my hand. It was a little embarrassing holding people up for 2 or 3 minutes while she looked through her documents.
Paul B, Morpeth
Fantastic gig as usual by Chuck Prophet and The Mission Express, which suited the venue perfectly. Can't praise it enough.
Liked: The concert room was a good size - intimate but not uncomfortably so. Stage a good size for a five piece and good P.A. Well stocked bar.
Disliked: Nothing.
Keren S, Castleford
There were 2 separate rooms with bands in both rooms, yet there was no interference of sound between the two rooms. Impressive for the size of the venue. First visit there - would definitely go again.
Liked: Good beer and food looked great; friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing - all round good venue.
M W, Leicester
Margo Price was the main act and she was sensational: kick-ass country! She invaded the crowd for the last number and hung around at the merch stall at the end for photos and signings. A very generous artist, afforded lots of time and space by the venue after the gig to meet the fans.
Liked: Love this venue. Wonderful mix of people. Friendly staff. Great booze. First rate sound system. Lots of artists that I love.
Disliked: Nothing. Brudenell Social Club is one of the best venues in the country in my honest opinion.
Geoff, Doncaster
Caroline C, Newcastle
We had a great night, listening to an amazing band - Hurray for the Riff Raff. I'll definitely be coming back - it was fantastic!
Liked: Lovely little social club, which fanned out around the stage, so there was a great view from the whole room. Plenty of space to dance too.
Disliked: Nothing.
Jon M, Stoke-on-Trent
Liked: Pleasant and efficient staff. Good mix of seating and standing. Great atmosphere - an ideal venue for the intimate gig.
David K, Coventry
Great night, smashing band. No problems.
Liked: Great staff on the door.
Helen T, Fife
A fantastic venue for a gig; great crowds; cheap drinks; great sounds; excellent.
