l Had to wait over an hour for the worst ever Ploughman’s lunch we’ve ever had…cold toasted bread, limp salad leaves and few pickles for over £11….we made a complaint but not one person apologised!

l Excellent carvery and sweet waiting staff superb.Great value for money.Lovely setting overlooking the river with and old Russian sub moored in the river.

l Friendly service, great Sunday roast, big portions. We were a party of 5 adults and a baby- staff very kind. Good value for money, good gluten free choices for desserts.
