We had heard many good things about this restaurant and it lived up to it's reputation. Our meals were so good, we plan to go back on our next trip to Chicago.

Liked: Staff, meals, beer and the rootbeer. We also love it's history.
Disliked: Nothing.

l Wide variety of german foods - all we had were solid. Excellent service. Nice walk to it in downtown. Would certainly return.

l Ok so the Wienerschnitzle is essentially a fried veal cutlet. No sauce. None. It comes with spatzle. I would give this plate 2 stars out of ten. We had the large pretzel… decent. The potato pancakes...
