We had an excellent meal at Prelude prior to seeing "Beautiful" at the UC Davis Health Pavilion. We had seafood and steaks. The wait service was really exceptional, including excellent wine recommendations. The restaurant is beautiful and the only quality restaurant experience we had in Sacramento.

Liked: Excellent food, wine and really exceptional service. Beautiful decor as well.
Disliked: Prelude is bright spot in otherwise pretty grim downtown Sacramento scene. Homeless population is frightening.
