We were there to eat prior to seeing Sebastian Maniscalco. We called to say we were delayed in traffic. They assured us there was no issue with us arriving late. We checked in upon arrival and explained we were waiting on another person. I asked if there would be any issue, that we were attending the show. The maitre'd assured me he would seat us as soon as the person arrived. Once we informed him we were all there he said,"Let me look now." He walked away to look and honestly did not come back. We stood waiting another 15 minutes. Finally we asked if we could use 2 bar tables and the woman agreed. The waitress took our order. We sat, with bread, for another 20 minutes. The maitre'd never reappeared. Slowly people began to ask about food at other tables. A family had been sitting over an hour without appetizers. We opted to leave at that point as there was no way we would be served in enough time to eat and make it to the show. The shame of it is the food smelled delicious. They were very understaffed. I saw one waitress and numerous bus boys. The waitress said the hold up was the kitchen being all backed up. This restaurant is very close to the sports complex and would be an excellent place to meet prior to an event. Unfortunately they obviously were not prepared for the volume of people they allowed to sit. Once they knew they were understaffed they should have adjusted the amount of guests allowed. I would have respected them much more if they explained that to me, especially because I arrived late. I did feel bad for the waitress and we were sure to tip her as we left since none of it was her fault.
Liked: The drinks mixed by the bartender.
Disliked: They were completely understaffed for the amount of people they sat.
