l Food excellent and the service exceptional. Best steak pie I have had for years. Lovely setting and ambience. A local gem which deserves to do well.

l Nice environment and very friendly staff. The food is good quality pub rather than classy restaurant. Decent prices for food wine and beer.

l Food service was finished but the landlady kindly agreed to serve me with a meal . I’m away from home working and don’t know the area well , I was made to feel very welcome.
