Acceptable but would not stay...

Liked: The room was clean and acceptable for a one night stay. Nice to have free parking.
Disliked: It's really in the middle of nowhere so you will need to go into the city to have something to eat. The area is completely abandoned and feels a bit creepy at night, as a single traveller I would not stay here. Extremely basic room with a sort of "abandoned factory chic" style. The check-in was only open for 1 hour on the day we were arriving (which we were informed of over the phone just before they closed). In the end everything was fine and we could check in by ourselves but it felt strange that they couldn't have told us about it earlier. When we were checking out, the reception was also not manned so we didn't see a single staff member during our stay. As another reviewer mentioned, it's a budget quality hotel but not for a budget price.

Exceptional

Liked: It was quiet, we could park directly in front of the hotel. We had comfortable beds, the design of the rooms we liked..It was a really good breakfast - made with love. Everybody was friendly — we would recommend this hotel for a trip to Aarhus.
