Excellent resort and facilities

Liked: We stayed in the Presidential Suite and the suite had an ocean view that was spectacular! Worth every dollar for the room upgrade! The dinner at the onsite Ox & Ocean restaurant was very good! Carson our server was very attentive during our meal. The entire resort staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We will definitely be back again!
Disliked: Getting from our suite to the restaurant via the pool area was very dark and not well lighted! Be careful!

Liked: The facilities are always so nice, it is a great getaway location.
Disliked: The staff was great the first time i visited, but so rude the next time. i am a young woman (19) and I feel as though I was not treated with the same urgency/hospitality as the older guests before me at check in. Also, when i ordered food and asked to have it delivered to my room, the person at the front desk said everyone was “too busy” so I made the walk to get it by myself. I didn’t mind this until I reached the lobby and found 2 employees sitting on their phones and doing nothing. I hope that next time I get a warm welcome and experience like i did on my first visit!

Nice location, nice views. Staff...

Liked: The location is awesome. Pools are nice. Super calm during the beginning of the fall.
Disliked: Staff are a bit rude. Also, one staff member gave me a wrong information about my Hilton Honors benefits that costed me $30 a day. Moreover, no room service. No good options for eating at the hotel. Internet connection very unstable. Parking insanely overpriced.

Not Worth The Cost!

Liked: We stayed at this place when is was under different ownership, and it was much better. The hotel is in a nice location, but for the price and all the additional fees (parking fee, resort fee, pet fee.....) we'll be staying elsewhere next time we're heading the Oxnard area
Disliked: The Price!!! We were expecting a lot more for the upfront pricing,,, not to mention all the additional charges. Nothing was mentioned regarding all the extra charges. If you're looking into this place, know its an additional $100 a night for all the extras fees!

Liked: I considered my room ocean front which they call ocean view.
Disliked: I think at check in the valet should not take your luggage until you know where your room is located. It was confusing.
