Terrific location but the room...

Liked: The room we were in had mould on the wall. They moved us to the room next door but it was concerning. Loved the gorgeous location and a restaurant on-site and a great store right there.
Disliked: The rooms were dated. Mould on the wall.....no. And the restaurant was expensive with a limited range of food and not enough staff.

Lodging right by Yosemite's entrance

Liked: King suite with balcony overlooked the river. Since the lodge is right by one of the park entrances, we felt like the hotel was extension of the park. They also have a small convenience store for last-minute purchases. Although I didn't use all the available facilities, there was a large game room equipped with all kinds of board games and other arcade machines, and swimming pool that seem great.
Disliked: Our first room was on the 3rd floors with a TV that didn't work properly, the fire place needed to be fixed by an on-site journeyman, there was an active sprinkler leak over the balcony furniture. Fortunately they moved us to a room on the 4th floors after we brought it up to the front desk's attention. There are two restaurants onsite: pizza place and a paid breakfast option. The pizza and salads were not great.
