Yosemite Southgate Hotel & Suites, Oakhurst

Excellent stay

Liked: Our room was very spacious—larger than we had expected—which was a pleasant surprise. It was well-equipped with a coffee machine, fridge, TV, and more. Free parking was very convenient. Since our stay was short, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked inviting. The breakfast was also nice, offering a selection of pastries and cereals. Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing place

Liked: We loved this place after a busy day at Yosemite national park. The facilities are great, the beds are super comfy, good breakfast and amazing team.
Disliked: N/A

Great location but dated funky...

Liked: Great location, not far from the entrance to Yosemite which was the purpose of our visit.
Disliked: Our room reeked of urine the moment we walked in. We immediately reported it to the front desk staff, who told us the hotel was completely booked and all they could do was spray the room with febreeze. Not sure why the sign outside said vacant rooms were available.

Great and super comfortable hotel

Liked: The size of the room, the pool, the jacuzzi. The room was huge and very clean and comfortable. The location was also good , it had good access to Yosemite South Gate and plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. They also have washing machine and dryer ( at $3 each) available. It was probably the best hotel of our trip in California
Disliked: The breakfast was convenient , but the choices were very limited , after the second day we were tired of eating the same.

Liked: The room was a double queen facing the quiet parking lot, The design has a modern look with a small refrigerator with a sperate freezer, a small microwave and a sink outside the bathroom
Disliked: Being on the 3rd floor of a 4 floor hotel, we had guests directly upstairs that were heavy walker or may have been kids running back a fourth. It lasted a couple hours till about 9pm, but was tired and fell asleep. The morning breakfast was very basic, the just scrambled egg and sausages, muffin, yogurt, cereal, coffee and juices

Liked: The room was very spacious, clean, contemporary and very well furnished and equipped.
Disliked: There were a lots of very noisy children at the pool right up until it closed at 10pm. We could also hear the occupants in the room above us walking and moving around. It wasn't too bad and didn't bother us too much but you could definitely hear it.
