Set in 70 acres of stunning grounds YHA Ravenstor towers above the River Wye in the Peak District. This National Trust Property offers affordable accommodations self-catering facilities and home-cooked food. Using fresh local produce this YHA hostel serves hearty English meals in its dining room accompanied by a wide range of beers wines and spirits. Liked: Ideal location and provided everything I needed. Highly recommend
Disliked: The reading lights in the bedroom didn't work and the showers were not quite warm enough. Not enough to put me off coming again though.

Great stop for hikers

Liked: Remote location but: Hot water: checkFood: checkAmenities: Mostly checkWish we had more time to check out the area.
Disliked: Internet: so-so, only downstairs in the common areasPrivate suites: still had bunk beds. Oh well!Some of the bathrooms were a little dirty and clogged up.
