Quiet hostel fir older traveler
Liked: Very clean. There was a group of middle school students but I didn't hear them because my room was toward the front through a door. There were only 3 or so rooms in my area so it was quiet. Staff were kind. I came in late and they prepared food for me. Located on beautiful property

Liked: good location, walking down to the coast is so lovely on a clear evening. staff are friendly and beds are comfortable. well heated. kitchen facilities top notch.

Excellent place, great base!
Liked: Comfortable, warm, excellent drying room, great quality breakfast. I was lucky enough to have a dorm to myself with its own en-suite. Staff were friendly and helpful and the kitchen was super well equipped. Everything was really clean and hygienic. Excellent location for coastal walks and other explorations.
Disliked: My only gripe was one of health and safety. I tripped twice on a metal door stopper in the middle of the floor. I also watched another guest do the same. Sadly the second of my trips resulted in a very badly bruised toe. I reported this immediately for health and safety and mentioned it to 2 other staff members but nothing was done in terms of logging the incident or doing anything to ensure nobody else tripped.
