Liked: Location is good as it is close to touristic sites and restaurants.
Disliked: The building itself needs renovation and the rooms needs repainting as paints are coming off on walls. Room is small. Bathroom and toilet is shared with 3 other rooms. Very noisy in the morning as close to St Paul's cathedral. There's one older staff that's not very friendly. She seem sound angry when u ask questions. We extended our check out to 12nn, they still knock on our door to disturb us before that time and demanded we pay the reception as if we are going to run away. I was so mad because extend to have a few more winks only to be disturbed by the staff. Are they not communicating at all????

Liked: Location good but definitely take the ear buds - bells of St Pauls!!
Disliked: Slooping ceiling above bed but mostly the stairs to the upper floors. Accident waiting to happen taking heavy luggage up.

Very budget

Liked: We stayed in the top floor private room. It had a shower room, sitting room, kitchen and bedroom. Nice and clean.
Disliked: The awful smell as you enter the building, like it was a home for street sleepers who haven't showered in months. No lift. The church bell rings every hour, quarter and half hour (24 hours a day) Very loud as st Paul's cath is a stones throw away. Not the hostels fault but beware.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff.
Disliked: Beds could be a bit more comfortable, but I appreciate it is budget accommodation. Perhaps staff tidying the shower cubicles at ‘rush hour’ could be good too.
