Good hostel near Liverpool city...

Liked: Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location, not too far from city center. Overall, a nice stay.

First time hostel stay, but...

Liked: Perfect location when attending Liverpool Comic Con, comfy clean bed. Had a cafeteria with drinks and food available until late.
Disliked: I wished for a bath mat for the shower floor as it got wet quite quickly and seems a bit dangerous to use.I also wished for a quiet common zone, the only one they had (that I could see) was at the reception by the door with people walking in and out all the time.

Liked: Couldn’t fault from start to finish. Arrived pre 12 room not ready but able to check in and drop bags
Disliked: Beds were very comfortable. Heating was a bit high but not complaining

Exceptional

Liked: The YHA has gone above and beyond again with this rare gem of a find in Liverpool. The accommodation was excellent, staff were friendly and courteous, and they even provided motorcycle locks for people riding to the location. The canteen was generously sized and offered a host of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was even able to work as well as socialise and all the communal areas, and met some lovely people along the way. The rooms were also spotless and offered very good ensuite toilets. I'll definitely choose them again if I'm in Liverpool and have become a fan of the YHA franchise.
Disliked: I can't really complain about much here at this place. It was lovely. There was a bit of a snorer in my room but other than that, no faults at all.
