Liked: Area was nice, enough parking, staff helpful. Value for money .Enjoyed the stay.
Disliked: If staff went with the guest to show the room that would be great.but its okay..

Liked: Continental breakfast was great. Staff were very good and friendly. Comfy beds. Location was lovely and its a beautiful building.
Disliked: It could do with a bit a spring clean eg there was dust under the beds.

Liked: I had ample parking and the pod was clean and enough for my two nights stay. If I wanted to stay longer I might choose a different option that the YHA offer.
Disliked: It's hard to fault the site or the Staff, only complaint is nothing to do with the YHA site. I was spending my day in Hawkshead and had to pay for parking in the main carpark. It was to far to walk at night back to the YHA on narrow roads. So even though I had free parking at YHA it still cost me £25.50 to park for the three days...

Liked: The shower rooms and all the staffs I encountered are very efficient and helpful in their information.
Disliked: Location, it's around 2 km away from Hawkshead centre. Too few dining tables for those who self-cater and check-in time is too late.

Liked: I sent this feedback to YHA and they said the issues were not a problem.I stayed in the rooms that are separate from the main building. the room was warm and clean and had a sink and a light.the kitchen was fine. the dining room was fine.
Disliked: the shower adjacent to the room did not work and the light was broken. potentially unsafe. I found a working shower in another part of the building.the toilet in the communal lounge area was blocked and not clean. there was not enough parkingthe person who checked me in was fine but behaved like he couldn't be bothered and didn't want to be there.
