Liked: The shower rooms and all the staffs I encountered are very efficient and helpful in their information.
Disliked: Location, it's around 2 km away from Hawkshead centre. Too few dining tables for those who self-cater and check-in time is too late.

Liked: I sent this feedback to YHA and they said the issues were not a problem.I stayed in the rooms that are separate from the main building. the room was warm and clean and had a sink and a light.the kitchen was fine. the dining room was fine.
Disliked: the shower adjacent to the room did not work and the light was broken. potentially unsafe. I found a working shower in another part of the building.the toilet in the communal lounge area was blocked and not clean. there was not enough parkingthe person who checked me in was fine but behaved like he couldn't be bothered and didn't want to be there.

Liked: what a wonderful day we spent at Yha Hawkshead! we stayed in a tent with our 3 children, Boys adored the tent, it was a delight to see them that happy. Surroundings are amazing, beautiful landscape to disconnect and enjoy. The place is clean and the facilities are great. we would definitely come back if travelling again to lake district
