Located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park YHA Grinton Lodge features many nearby hiking routes and mountain biking paths. Traditional limestone barns and wildflower meadows can be seen in the surrounding area. Free private parking is also on offer. An on-site restaurant garden and shop are available for all Grinton Lodge guests to use as well as a games room library and BBQ facilities. Guests can also relax in the TV lounge or make use of the camping facilities available. The historic market town of Richmond is only 10 miles away and features an 11th-century castle and the Georgian Theater Royal. Shops restaurants and cafés are also on offer.

Liked: We interacted with 4 members of staff, all were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to help us following a very long day on the bike.

Liked: Clean, good food, nice people.
Disliked: Poor motorcycle parking. Gravel is a real tricky surface.

Rural Quiet Beautiful Building with...

Liked: The rural quiet location was incredible and building beautiful plus gorgeous views. Quick walk to pub / village. Private parking.
Disliked: Almost all the doors slam and smell of BO upstairs.
