Ok-ish, we got a better...

Liked: We booked the Airstream because we thought it would be a nice experience, but it was ok-ish. The room itself is clean, but the mattress is somewhat uncomfortable. Other basic facilities are nearby i.e. cafe and toilet.
Disliked: Nothing special about the location, but that is ok because our plan was to visit the Eden Project. However we cancelled the plan because while searching for information about the Eden Project we have read so many negative reviews about it, therefore we didn't proceed with our plan to visit it.

Didn’t stay - staff lovely,...

Liked: Staff lovely, great position near Eden project,lovely on a nice day
Disliked: Booking.com advertising not clear - Mobile home does not mean Airstream caravan - that would be second on the list, first is an airpod - completely different. So if like us you think you have late booked a nice comfy Airstream on a wet and windy night having been at Eden project for the afternoon and not kitted out for camping, and instead find you are tramping across a wet field with toilets 50 m away and zero lighting to a solid based blow up tent with a couple of jammed in bunk beds you are going to be extremely disappointed. Good luck in getting your money back from YHA. Their solution ‘Book through YHA direct in future’ - perhaps changing/removing their, at best disingenuous, advert or at least making clear the available option - perhaps something simple like, to book an Airstream use mobile home option 2 - not rocket science! Oh and yes I love wild camping, just need the right gear.

Disappointing

Liked: The Bell tents were lovely and clean and the wood burner had lot of wood supplied but the facilities were the worst I've ever seen and I've camped a lot! Really let the place down.
Disliked: Facilities were absolutely disgusting which was such a shame as the tents and staff were lovely.
