Superb

Liked: A very enjoyable stay. Location and facilities are excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone wishing to make the most of some stunning countryside.

Worst night's sleep ever!

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Unfortunately I had very little sleep due to the loud noise caused by water flowing through the radiator in the room. This was extremely frustrating as I was taking part in a sports event at 8am the next morning so was relying on a decent night's sleep.

Questionable

Liked: Great location, plenty of parking and cheap. However I was situated in the East Mews and safe to say it needs a lot of renovation. If I hadn’t been so exhausted I would have probably slept in my car. Not sure how safe this is to actually allow people to sleep in such a room but definitely not shown these when on the main company or booking.com website. Couldn’t comment on food or toilet facilities as I didn’t require them during my stay due to late evening arrival and early morning departure. Would stay again but only if in main building and was true to advertising

Good for a family night...

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: We were cold, although they lit the fire when o asked for it. The food was very average.

Exceptional

Liked: Stayed for 2 nights. Great value for money, free upgrade to 4 birth room. Friendly staff, great breakfast (£10 extra pppd). Perfectly placed for the walks we had planned. Short walk into Castleton for real ale and pub grub at night. Will definitely be booking again.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Staff and food was spot on . Lovely to see that's universal across sites visited
Disliked: Order one single got bunk bed not long enough. The shared toilet shower upgrade. Redesign as the ergonomics all over the shiw
