YHA Borrowdale is a recommended stop on Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk. Bustling Keswick is about 7 miles away. On site you will find a cycle store and free parking. Fantastic hostel with amazing routes...

Liked: Fantastic location, great bar and food served each night. Very welcome and friendly atmosphere!
Disliked: The only negative was no hot water for the last day of my stay but that was a one off mistake. I will definitely be booking again to stay here!

Very good

Liked: The location is extremely pretty!!!! Just ideal for a trip in Lake District.
Disliked: Sheets were not clean, had few hairs on bedding indicating that those were not fresh ones maybe.
