A quick, comfortable budget stay.

Liked: The wifi was free and relatively fast compared to other places I've stayed here. Room was pretty spacious, even for a semi-budget hotel, and the bed was pretty comfortable. It's also the perfect hotel if you need to stay next to Southern Cross, no more than a three minute walk away from the bus station for anyone taking the (admittedly expensive) SkyBus to the airport, a few more steps to the train station, and a massive outlet mall as well if you need some food.
Disliked: When I was there, the elevator was under repair, so I had to use the stairs. They did warn me about it beforehand, though, and gave plenty of extra perks (like free early check-in) to compensate for the inconvenience! Also do note there's not many amenities here, but that's where the budget comes in.

Disliked: 1 advertisement completely false. Was supposed to be almost half price because of building work nearby so a luxury hotel at a reduced price. Not true. Couldn't give it even 1 star. Outrageous price of $158.2 lights flickered continuously3 no toilet brush4 milk not supplied. Had to walk along a dark alleyway at night past drug-affected individuals to buy milk5 no microwave6 no information in room re room amenities, hotel or area7 view was of concrete wall and air-conditioning units8 TV remote not working9 spit stains on privacy blind10 bathroom door kicked in and gouges covered with cardboard11 no complementary toiletries 12 smoke alarm covered in plastic wrap (to stop steam from kettle setting it off, I think). VERY DANGEROUS13 water pipes in wall vibrated all night. Very noisy14 one side of bed higher than the other15 no grate on air-conditioning duct16 shower curtain torn and dirty17 mould around shower base18 told we could have a late check out, 1pm, if we give a 10/10 review to Booking.com19 will not answer their phone AT ALL. $100 security deposit not returned and can't contact them

Exceptional

Fine for a few nights.

Liked: Great location opposite the skybus (the main reason why we stayed here). The staff were really friendly. Lots of dinner options near by.
Disliked: The room decor was very dated. We were in a Queen room for 2 people, so would have been nice to have a couch that seated 2. The bathroom had awful black mould all over the ceiling and grout, and a few stray hairs in the bath from the previous occupant.

Liked: Location,staff and the price.
Disliked: Rooms are very small. Cleaning is up to the basic necessary level of cleaning to live a night. It's more like a motel to be honest. In fact I have stayed in motels that are prettier and spacious compared to this. With all said it's a good price for the location.
