Exceptional

Liked: The staff - especially the manager of the restaurant were exceptional. One of the nicest hotels where you just get a good feel about the placeFood was very good, bed was comfy and I loved the old look about the place
Disliked: Nothing. Very minor but kettle didn't work, they just topped up my coffee flask at the breakfast restaurant

No air con.Opening the window meant subject to traffic noise and was slightly uneasy doing so as was on first floor that opened up onto car parkThe towel rails position in a relatively small bathroom meant it was easy to get burnt while entering shower.No toilet brush No work top or table to set lap top up on

Worst night's sleep ever

Liked: Nice old feel with a lot of history
Disliked: Bedroom was above kitchen which felt like they were rearranging the furniture and rowing with each other, heard stfu at one point. This was till the kitchen closed, and first thing in the morning so 23:30 and 06:00 ish.Bed was a small double which was a struggle for 2 people, considered sleeping on the floor at one point. Heating control non existent, either hot or hot with windows open and more noise from the kitchen seemed to be the options. Wine was nice, but not over £10 a glass nice. Stale smell to the room. Sorry won't be going back.

Disliked: This is over priced on food rooms and Drinks fine for A night stay visiting family

Liked: The room was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, the staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent, and the location was ideal for us, with a nice car park.
