Liked: Lovely location, excellent food though breakfast menu/buffet was not as extensive as similar hotels. Staff very helpful. No dedicated hotel parking, we were lucky and had no problem, but not sure everyone would be as fortunate.

A pleasant hotel and the...

Liked: The property was fine as I expected.The room was nice and I could get the lift to the room as promised as I had a hip problem.
Disliked: Couldn’t park close by.Even the disabled space was taken by a big white van without a badge. I managed to park in car park nearby.

Relaxing Twixtmas.

Liked: Excellent location, public car park a few minutes walk away. £6.40 all day. Traditional breakfast available, the cooked one nicely cooked, not greasy and plenty of it. Cereal also available. Staff were very courteous, nothing too much trouble. Asked for mugs for our room instead of the paper ones provided as we were staying for 4 nights - supplied straight away. Bedroom good though bed could have been bigger. Nice hot shower. Everything very clean.

Liked: Location perfect. Staff excellent. Lovely room with view over the castle and High Street
Disliked: Stair access a little tricky (room 2). Parking no problem in winter with few cars around in High Street, but in summer could be more difficult.
