Beautiful old Tudor hotel with...

Liked: Situated in lovely countryside a very imposing old Tudor property. Decorated beautifully - our bedroom and bathroom were enormous, warm and very comfortable with a super king size four poster bed, facilities for coffee and tea in the room. We had a very delicious breakfast in the dining room which was set up with lovely china cups and saucers. Our hostess was very pleasant and even made us sausage sandwiches to take away with our left over breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.
Disliked: It would have been wonderful to have been able to check in earlier than 4pm to have a cup of tea or coffee in the lounge with our friends and dinner in the evening in the dining room even if it was just served on Saturdays.

Liked: Beautiful historic house but warm and totally comfortable. Thoughtful hosts. Easy walk into Caerphilly for dinners and train into Cardiff every 10mins
