I’d highly recommend a stay...

Liked: Y Fan is a beautifully restored manor house. It’s close to town, but you feel like you’re in the country. Our room (The Green Lady) was cozy and inviting, and very comfortable. Christine and Adrian were wonderful hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed. The full Welsh breakfast was delicious—a great start to a day of exploring or traveling.

Liked: A beautiful b&b, a stunning home, Adrian and Christine have done a fantastic job and still trying to do more. Would definitely recommend, it's only a 10 minute walk to town and train station. Excellent breakfast , all the room's are tastefully decorated.

What a splendid stay of...

Liked: Absolutely wonderful experience in everyway. We really enjoyed the peace of this oasis amid the hustle and bustle of the town and the atmosphere was so relaxing and everything was of top quality and the breakfast was beautiful. Love the dining room experience and there is space between tables. Adrian and Christine were so lovely and friendly and they have created an amazing place to share with guests and couldn't have been more obliging to your needs. We even heard the owl hooting at night which was a bonus for us and made us feel we were out in the countryside. Love the historic aspect too and we felt we were lord and lady of the manor. Excellent stay and we would love to come back again. 5 stars and more for the best place we have ever stayed in.

Liked: Great location, quiet, wonderful breakfast, fabulous hosts. We stayed on the top floor, in the Owain Glyndwr king room which has high ceilings, a lovely skylight, and comfortable bed.

Liked: A splendid historic manor in a quiet and leafy location close to central Caerphilly. Very spacious, beautifully maintained, plenty of books (!), lots of thoughtful touches, huge bed , great breakfast, friendly and informative welcome.
