Super comfy boutique hotel with...

Liked: Great location got everything in this area.Super comfy bedRoom was small but had all the elementsGREAT restaurants on ground and top floors, food was very good, spanish influence with good sized portions.Rooftop restaurant had a great vibe and views over ManhattanStaff were extremely pleasant, especially in the restaurants and the bellmen.
Disliked: This hotel seemed to rely heavily on event guests. The bedroom lighting was” ambient” which meant not possible to do make-up pre event, the bathroom had good lighting but an “antiqued” mirror, which also meant it was impossible to do pre- event make-up.Lit Magnifying mirrors would be a great addition, especially for event guests.( i did ask, but there were ‘nt any)

Better than expected.

Liked: The restaurant and upstairs bar were both fantastic. The Manhattan rooms were gorgeous and very spacious by NY standards.
Disliked: My family all had bad allergies while staying. Many of the rooms felt damp so we assume there is a mold/mildew problem. Not totally unexpected given the historic building, but if that could be solved this place would be perfect.

Liked: Modern stylish rooms, good heating and coolingThoughtful amenities and suppliesFantastic shower and very clean
Disliked: It’s in an area with a bit of noise so if you’re sensitive to that I’d avoid staying here
