Would have asked to have room changed immediately but we had a difficult time finding rooms on-line and since we were only staying one night decided to stick with the room. Did not report the mold right away because we knew there was nothing that could be done. All hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. Because staff had no knowledge of room conditions probably would not recommend it to friends.

Liked: Food in The Marker was excellent. Front desk management was apologetic. Reservation details went smoothly.
Disliked: Carpeting in room had cigarette burn marks and multiple stains. We were uncomfortable walking on it in bare feet. Bathroom ceiling was very moldy over shower and toilet area. Management claimed no one had mentioned these problems before. Housekeeping that didn't report these problems makes me worry about what we couldn't see.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was good, was near the Lucas oil stadium and downtown in general. It was easy to check in.
Disliked: Everything was overpriced and the rooms felt a little claustrophobic. Not much you can do on property.

Nice for a weekend getaway

Liked: I loved how close to downtown Indianapolis the hotel is. I love how easy it is to get to downtown Indianapolis from the hotel. The beds and the pillows were super soft. They had a microwave which was unexpected but very very welcomed.
Disliked: They have a Starbucks / mini store but nobody ever works the counter.

Liked: Great place to stay! Best night’s sleep I’ve ever gotten in a hotel due to the new beds! The complimentary early-morning shuttle to the airport was a godsend, too.
Disliked: No complaints, whatsoever, will stay here again!

Liked: Having a coffee shop in the lobby was nice. The lobby was nice. Having a shuttle to the convention center was great.
Disliked: Wifi was broken the entire time. First room we got was a mess and half the buttons on the remote for the TV didn't work. Second room had a toilet that almost over flowed every time we used it. Sink took forever to drain. The overall look of the room was terrible. holes and brackets left in the walls, paint and caulk on the walls and tile. AC/heat would not retain the desired temp. I was downgraded from a room with a full kitchen to a really crappy room. TV constantly reverted back to the infomercial channel. There were only two plugs in the entire room and the USB plugs didn't work. The staff could have cared less about any of the issues. Paying $18 for a breakfast that every other hotel offers for free is insane. The restaurant staff was great, however they were severely understaffed and the food took over an hour to get and was awful.
