Check in was at 3 pm which was ridiculous. Reserved a non-smoking room but the room smelled like cigarettes - even the lobby smelled like cigarettes. Tried to order room service for breakfast but no one answered so we had to drive and find somewhere to eat. For the amount we paid for one night I think it was a rip off - totally disappointed with our stay. The staff were friendly - the only positive I noted.

Liked: Proximity to NRG stadium.
Disliked: The air conditioning system was not functioning properly. Water pressure and temperature was bad. Management knew it was a problem because while checking in, multiple people were complaining and they were shifting people to different rooms.

False advertisement.

Disliked: The room did not have air conditioner.Working, called the front desk.They let me know that no rooms have air conditioner due to the fact that it is winter in texas. TEXAS DON'T HAVE REAL WINTERS. ROOM WAS 90°.There was Also a cockroach. Room had an odor upon entry of mold. When you cut the shower on the shower head faces outside of the shower but let it be entire bathroom floor as well as the carpet leading to the beds. There was no bar or restaurant. Conditions were so bad chose to check out early.When I went to the front desk to turn in my keys she asked.Why was I leaving?I explained the room is 90°.And you guys do not have working air conditioner.She then proceeds to say oh, we could have changed the room.But that is not what they said on the phone when we called downstairs and complained many times throughout the night. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. False advertisement all the way around.

TEXAS BOWL GAME REVIEW

Liked: Close to NGR stadium. Comfortable beds. Friendly front desk
Disliked: $30 for breakfast that most hotels are included. Rooms and hallways very dated. Steak house had no steaks, only 1 person spoke English, not enough staff for bowl game and New Years Eve. Bathrooms were very small. Way over priced. No refrigerator in room. Old bad TV set.
