Comfortable Beds and Cold AC

Liked: Fast check in, Friendly staff , comfortable beds, cold AC and great location.
Disliked: There wasn’t much I didn’t like, I know they jacked the price up on the rooms because of Mardi Gras and not sure why because the next week I checked and rooms were almost $150 cheaper. I have another trip coming up to Kenner and would love to stay there again but I’m a little hesitant now

Disliked: The shower didn't drain properly and we were standing in 3 inches of water by the time we each finished our showers.

Disliked: Rooms smells like stale air, air conditioning was a joke as it had only a small unit which didn’t cool entire room. My son slept on pull out couch & he was sweating all night. My 5 year old slept directly in front of small unit with no blanket!! Pool looked gross and unkept. Definitely a one time visit for my family

Disliked: Took 2 hours to get checked into room. Due to no staff member present to do so. When she did show back up , she appeared intoxicated and could not perform task of checking anyone into room. Then she called the police for what reason I'm not sure. Was not able to Check into a room I had prepaid for until another staff member arrived. Had drove 4 hours and another guest had drove 7 who was also attempting to get checked in. Lobby filled with approximately 20 people needing assistance. There was a powerlifting competition going on next door. Approximately 12 of the 20 guest in lobby was of high-school students participating in competition..which they stated the staff member who was supposed to be working the front desk was at the Mexican restaurant down the street sitting at bar drinking. Meanwhile guests are in the motel lobby trying to find out how and who could check us in....Very bad experience...will never stay there again due to that.

Liked: I gave it 3 stars because the staff was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets were clean. Otherwise, the carpet and the upholstered chair were filthy. I got a sheet to cover the chair and later I had to kill a roach climbing up the sheet. The halls had an awful odor, possibly from some cleaning fluid, but it was nasty. The tub was missing molding, and the surface was all marred. The door to the room had a bolt lock but it didn’t work. We used to stay at this location when it was a Hilton but now we will never stay here again.

Great location but unfortunately everything...

Liked: We could not check in till 7 pm. The hotel ran out of breakfast and stopped serving at 7:30 am. I understand the hotel was extremely busy but that wasn’t a surprise. Rooms got booked months in advance for the event next door and management was not prepared for it. If you take all the reservations and money from people you have to be able to handle that amount of business. When we checked in at 7 pm one of the girls bed had bleach all over the blanket to the point her shirt got ruined.
