No Hot Water Here

Liked: The beds were comfortable and I’m a sucker for a good hotel pillow and they had the best pillows! The lobby entrance was so cute. They had a log fire going and the Christmas tree decorated! Check in and out was so simple and easy.
Disliked: I’ll start with the amenities: it was advertised that the pool was heated. I will say it was warm vs a cold pool but the hot tub was the same temp as the rest of the pool and it wasn’t “hot”. Now with the rest: I’m not familiar with the area it’s not a location we often travel to. This hotel is in an older area of town that isn’t the best. It’s a little shady. It had a full on restaurant that served more as the local bar, which if you’re young or not with your kids would definitely be a good time. But just a heads up if that’s not your thing. To the room: we’re a family of 4 we had 2 towels and they didn’t have more towels, which they were also out of at the pool. But we figured we’d make do. But this is the kicker when we went to take showers there was no hot water! So my husband takes his cold shower and we call down to lobby to ask what’s going on they give us a trick on how to warm up the water by turning on the sink’s cold water and then the shower, like what?! Why is there no hot water in a hotel? By morning it was warmer but still not hot. It’s not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but by far in the top 3. I’ve never had a hotel run out of hot water before.
