Good for a quick overnight...

Liked: The check-in was quick and easy. I checked in online before I arrived. We arrived three hours early, but my room was ready. Awesome! The bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The hotel front desk staff was super friendly. They gave me great suggestions for eateries and shopping. I enjoyed watching the water and the fishermen.
Disliked: I probably didn't pay close enough attention to the room details. I did not know our hotel door was exposed to the elements. I thought the balcony was private. Nope. That was not the case. It rained hard the next day of our visit. Rain was all over the balcony, the door to our room, and the walkway. When we went to check out, it was still raining. I got wet walking to the elevator. There is a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel. When we got back that evening from sightseeing and eating at Big Mike's there wasn't any parking. Let me rephrase that...there was parking, but patrons of the bar were double parking. We had to park far away from the hotel.

Cackling Karens & dripping ceilings!

Liked: Upon arrival our balcony chairs were taken along with our ashtray... the ladies that took them were so loud.... after they returned our chairs, I noticed I was getting wet..... roof above me was leaking water from the air-conditioner... ice machine didn't work... The cackling ladies were up and outside very loud at sun rise..... they had our balcony furniture again.... so we paid 165.00 for some entitled women to ruin out trip..

Liked: The rooms were getting updated and there was construction. We had issues with the shower the hot water was not working when you first turned it on. You had to jiggle the handle and eventually at some point at water would turn on. The parking is atrocious there isn't enough parking some nights when we got home late we had to drive around to wait for a car to leave so we had parking. Being on the lake there's no other parking lot than the one they had and because they have a bar that's open up to the public sometime the parking lot would be full and there would be no parking available for gas. We trying the restaurant that was in the hotel. They had free breakfast and it was all decent we actually had dinner there as well a little bit pricey for the food but overall not bad. I can't deal with all the updates they feel when we pain 140 is probably suffice for a night but I'm not sure it's worth $140 a night. However staff was very friendly, the rooms for the most part were clean in the view of the lake is what you can't beat.

Liked: The only issue I had was no response to the text system I was told to use. The house keeping link did not work. The first day I hung a refresh sign and they just flipped it to do not disturb didn't even take out the trash. Day 2 They walked by my room went "Oh someone's in there" and kept going even though I had pulled the full trash cans in plain view and left the door open. Had to physically get up off the couch and stop one of them. Then Sunday evening after purposely passing me over they were sticking their faces to the window trying to see in. While looking at some list in their hand. That was so rude. Why not just knock. So I got up and pulled the other curtains closed since the sheer wasn't enough of a hint and put the do not disturb sign in the window. There was paint on the curtains. Most lights and the coffee pot were unplugged. There was someone else's hair in the tub.

Loud but nice

Liked: The hotel was nice, it seemed it was undergoing a remodel and the rooms were clean and nice. Everything was up to date as far as huge fire tv, and new comfy mattresses. The staff consisted of locals and were very nice! You can’t beat the breakfast, way better than any hotel I’ve stayed at! The back of the hotel has a beautiful view of the lake, a great deck, and the swimming pool was heated! The only negative thing was it was located on the highway and my god it was loud! I got maybe 2 hours of sleep. I felt like I was sleeping on the interstate. I 100% suggest getting a lake view room or bring some headphones. Other than that, it’s a nice place!
