Wyndham Garden Chinatown, New York City

We attended an event at The Bowery and stayed here at the Wyndham Garden. It was nice and close. The hotel staff were very helpful. Great hotel. I would stay here again.

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Failure to refund deposit still despite checking out nearly three weeks ago. Also deducting extra unauthorised charges two days after we had left. Poor communication since and little attempt to resolve my complaint. Shocking behaviour.

Decent stay but the lack...

Liked: Staff were nice, room was clean and comfortable
Disliked: Heating did not work and we woke up at 6am because the room was freezing cold. We had to call reception to bring a heater. The room could use some hooks by the door to hang jackets.

Dissapoint due the poor amenaties...

Liked: I really like the view that the room was provided.
Disliked: I didn’t appreciate that the tv didn’t have any streaming services, I also was disappointed with the small breakfast selection that the hotel was offering and the plastic ustensile . Our room was freezing due to a AC unit issue, which disturbed the comfort of our stay. I don’t this those issue should happen with 4 stars hotels.

I like the room we...

Liked: I love the location and I love that they provide 2 water bottles per day to the guest and also there's a lemon water provided in the lobby. I also like their rooftop bar. It has a really nice view of the city.
Disliked: The staff on the front desk aren't friendly and welcoming. When we first checked in, they're not even smiling and welcoming. They just look annoyed. And we came to ask on our first day if there should be a curtain or a door for the shower since half of the space is open (they only have half glass window for the shower). So, the floor was super wet when we took a shower. And the lady at the front desk only said that's just the design. And so we're like okay then and request for more towel to wipe the floor. And weirdly, on our third day at the hotel, when we came back to our room, they have put a curtain on the shower door.
